Follicle Constraint



This script is used for constraining objects to a deforming mesh.
to use: Select UV's on your mesh, run the script

something to notice is that there is now a new group in the outliner that contains all the follicles
you may also have problems if you have overlapping UV's, the follicle will just be at (0, 0, 0) if thats the case

some uses can be adding buttons to a simulated cloth mesh, or like my video, adding horns to a random model
The advantage to creating them this way is that you dont get all the extra hair nodes that Maya normally creates
